NCL SW-900 Two-Component High Strength Structural Injection Resin High-Strength Structural Injection Resin NCL Injection Resin

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

NCL SW-900 is a Two-part High-strength Structural Injection Resin designed to repair concrete defects such as cracks, porosity, cold joint, segregation and other imperfections that caused water leakages especially in underground infrastructure.

NCL SW-900 has excellent adhesion and it can be injected to seal dry, damp, wet or water-bearing areas. Due to its low viscosity characteristic, NCL SW-900 can penetrate deep into thick concrete structure to seal off fine cracks and other minute defects to recover concrete strengths.

Once cured, NCL SW-900 forms an excellent barrier against water ingress caused by hydrostatic pressure. It is used as a permanent repair material for leaking concrete structure to achieve restoration and waterproofing result in a single process.

COMPOSITION

NCL SW-900 is a low viscosity Two-part Injection Resin which consists of Part A – Resin/Base and Part B – Hardener. Part A and Part B are mixed to form rigid/hard Resin.

AREA OF APPLICATION

• Basement & Diaphragm Wall • Reinforced Concrete Wall & Slab
• Concrete Joint • Lift Pits
• Subway & Tunnels • Dams
• Sewerage Structure • Water Tank
• Manhole & Wet Shaft • Brickwork
• Rock and Soil Stabilization • Other Specialized Applications

FEATURES & ADVANTAGES

• Low viscosity • Penetration into cracks <200 microns
• Excellent bond strength • Provides water resistant barrier
• Good chemical resistance & Non-corrosive • Unaffected by salts or contaminants in water

INJECTION PROCESS

Single-line Injection Process (for NCL SW-900S only):
Mix homogeneously Part A and Part B in 1:1 ratio by volume in a suitable clean and dry container. Inject mixed resin with single-line injection machine. Ensure resin is injected within the pot life of the material after mixing.

Twin-line Injection Process (for NCL SW-900F & 900S):
Fill containers of 1:1 ratio twin-line injection machine with Part A and Part B separately. Inject material through the injection gun equipped with static mixer into the structure to be sealed.

FINAL PRODUCT

The injection resin cures slowly to a high-strength rigid/hard resin without water contact. In contact with water during injection, the hydrophobic injection resin first displace water then reacts rapidly and foams to tough and dense polymer in concrete structure.

STORAGE & HANDLING

It is recommended to keep container tightly closed in a cool (20 - 25°C), dry and well-ventilated place. Partly used drums/pails should be properly sealed to prevent ingress of moisture. To increase the material life expectancy, partially used drum/pail can be filled with nitrogen gas and sealed tightly to prevent contamination. When the material is stored properly, the shelf life is approximately twelve (12) months from the production date.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Waste disposal should be in accordance with all applicable local and national regulations. Kindly check with the local authorities on proper disposal method. Empty drums/pails should be punctured to clear the content. Care must be taken to prevent environmental contamination from the use of this material.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Treat symptomatically and get medical attention immediately.
  • Inhalation: Remove from exposure. If there is any difficulty in breathing, get medical attention immediately.
  • Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Immediately flush affected area thoroughly with mild soap and water.
  • Eye Contact: Immediately flood eyes with plenty of water for a minimum of 15 minutes holding the eyes open.
