NCL EPOXY EP800-I

NCL EPOXY EP800-I

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION NCL EPOXY EP800-I is a two part, low viscosity epoxy resin for sealing of fine cracks and repairing of cracked concrete to restore the structural strength. The cured NCL Epoxy EP800-I entirely and completely restores the concrete to its original monolithic conditions. NCL EPOXY EP800-I is supplied in two bulk containers for use together with two-component injection machine or pressure grout pump.   COMPOSITION NCL EPOXY EP800-I is a Two-part Injection Resin which consists of Part A – Resin/Base and Part B – Hardener. Part A and Part B are mixed to form high-strength rigid epoxy resin.   AREA OF APPLICATION ·          Repairs of cracked concrete ·        Jointing of concrete members ·        Grouting of bolts, anchors, bars etc. ·        Consolidation of friable rocks and stones ·        Re-bonding of de-lamination in concrete toppings, tiles, etc. ·        Other Specialized Applications   FEATURES & ADVANTAGES ·        Long pot life ·        Injectable with single-line injection machine ·        Suitable for dry and damp applications ·        Injectable with twin-line injection machine ·        High mechanical strength ·        Rigid tough resin, not brittle   MATERIAL DATA   UNIT PART A PART B TEST METHOD Appearance - Clear Liquid Amber Liquid - Mixed Viscosity (at 25 ˇăC) mPa.s ~800 - Specific Gravity (at 25 ˇăC) - ~1.1 ~0.99 - Flash Point ˇăC >150 >166 - Mixing Ratio (A:B) litre 2 1 - Compressive Strength N/mm2 ~80 ASTM D695 Tensile Strength N/mm2 ~22 ASTM C307 Flexural Strength N/mm2 ~30-50 DIN 1164 Tensile Adhesive Strength N/mm2 4-7 DIN 53282 *NCL EPOXY EP800-I system cured for 7 days at 20ˇăC has the above properties. Result may vary depending on site condition.   REACTION DATA     Pot life (at 20 ˇăC) Approximately 60 minutes Curing Time (at 20-25 ˇăC) Minimum 24 hours Fully Cured > 7 days *The reaction data is recorded under laboratory condition at 25 ˇăC. Result may vary depending on site condition.   INJECTION PROCESS Single-line Injection Process: Mix homogeneously Part A and Part B in 2:1 ratio by volume in a suitable clean and dry container. Inject mixed resin with single-line injection machine. Ensure resin is injected within the pot life of the material after mixing.   Twin-line Injection Process: Feed twin-line injection machine (2:1 ratio by volume) with Part A and Part B separately. Inject material through the injection gun equipped with static mixer into structure to be sealed.   FINAL PRODUCT Once mixed, the injection material cures to rigid and tough resin in concrete structure and completely restores the concrete to its monolithic condition.   PACKAGING Contents Volume   Part A : Resin 20 Liter / 10 Liter   Part B : Hardener 10 Liter / 5 Liter     STORAGE & HANDLING It is recommended to keep container tightly closed in a cool (20 - 25ˇăC), dry and well-ventilated place. Partly used drums/pails should be properly sealed to prevent ingress of moisture. To increase the material life expectancy, partially used drum/pail can be filled with nitrogen gas and sealed tightly to prevent contamination. When the material is stored properly, the shelf life is approximately twelve (12) months from the production date.   WASTE DISPOSAL Waste disposal should be in accordance with all applicable local and national regulations. Kindly check with the local authorities on proper disposal method. Empty drums/pails should be punctured to clear the content.
